Mauli Foundation is a non-profit organization that relies on donations to fund its charitable initiatives. Donations made to Mauli Foundation are used to support our programs, activities, and beneficiaries. Donations are considered final once processed.

2. Refund Policy for Donations

We understand that errors may occur when making donations. Mauli Foundation will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis under the following circumstances:

  • Duplicate Donations: If you mistakenly made a duplicate donation due to a processing error or other reasons, we will refund the duplicate amount upon verification.

  • Incorrect Donation Amount: If you entered an incorrect donation amount and would like to request a refund or adjustment, please contact us immediately. Refunds for incorrect donation amounts will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • Unauthorized Transactions: If you believe your donation was made fraudulently or without your authorization, please notify us immediately. We will investigate the claim and take necessary actions to rectify the situation, including providing a refund where appropriate.

3. Conditions for Refunds

  • Refund requests must be made within 15 days from the date of donation.
  • Refund requests will only be considered if they are made by the original donor or the authorized representative of the donor.
  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method used during the donation. If this is not possible, we will work with the donor to find an alternative solution.
  • Any transaction fees or charges incurred during the donation process may be non-refundable.

  • Reason for requesting a refund

Once your request is received, our team will review the information and respond within 7 business days. If your refund is approved, it may take an additional 7-10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on the original payment method.

5. Donations for Specific Campaigns

If your donation was made toward a specific campaign or cause, and Mauli Foundation is unable to apply your donation to that campaign due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., the campaign’s funding target has already been met, the campaign has ended), we will notify you and provide the option to reallocate your donation to another program or request a refund.

6. Tax Exemption and Deductions

Please note that tax exemption certificates for donations made to Mauli Foundation are issued immediately upon receiving the donation. If a refund is granted, the tax exemption certificate previously issued for the donation will become void, and donors may be required to adjust their tax filings accordingly.

7. Changes to the Policy

Mauli Foundation reserves the right to update or modify this Refund and Return Policy at any time. Changes to this policy will be posted on our website, and the updated effective date will be indicated at the top of this page. Donors are encouraged to review this policy periodically.
